Select 'Image Rotation' from the File menu and select a 90-degree rotation, either. If you have a flat image without multiple layers, press 'Ctrl-A' to select all, then 'Ctrl-C' to copy the document to the clipboard. Second, you can press Enter or Return when you’re done to apply the transformation, or Esc to cancel it. Open any Photoshop document that's in portrait mode. There are also some additional points that could be of help when you’re trying to rotate an image in Photoshop. First, you can always use Undo (Ctrl+Z or Command+Z) if you make a mistake. In the Move tool’s options bar, select Auto Select and then choose Layer from the menu options that show up. To rotate around a specific point, such as the center of the image, click on that point with the Transform tool active. PRO TIP: If you are using the rotate shortcut, be aware that it may not work as intended.
